- With due regard to the right privacy and the need to protect confidentiality, the condition under which seafarers personal data may be recruitment and placement services including the collection, storage, combination and communication of such data to third parties.
- No means, Mechanisms or lists intended to prevent or deter seafarers from gaining employment would be used.
- We ensure that copies of all advertisements issued, interview call letters, correspondence with applicants and copies o appointment letters etc. will be maintained for a minimum retention period of 5 years
- It is obligatory on the company to examine and respond to any complaint concerning their activity and advise the Director General of shipping or to the relevant flag administration, as the case may be, of any unresolved complaint. We have a complaint box and complaint register for grievance redress.
